Attorney Profile

I have been practicing law for more than 25 years. I focus my practice on Criminal Defense but also include Civil Litigation, such as Auto Accidents and Personal Injury & Death, and Insurance Bad Faith cases, as well as representing injured clients in Pennsylvania Workers' Compensation and Social Security Disability matters.

Originally from McKeesport in the Pittsburgh area, now, after 25 years in Smethport, I reside in Erie. My life experiences help me relate to the diverse clients I serve across Northwestern Pennsylvania, through my offices in Erie and Smethport. My experience as a trial lawyer is enhanced from being a Magisterial District Judge for Magisterial District Court 48-3-02 in Smethport, McKean County, Pennsylvania from June 2004 to January 2006 and as an Assistant Public Defender for McKean County from 1995 through 1997.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Allegheny College in 1989 and a law degree from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law in 1992. I am admitted to practice before the courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, as well as the United States District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania and the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

I am an active member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association (PBA), and formerly served as a Zone 7 Governor on its Board of Governors (2008 to 2011), and as Chair of the Solo and Small Firm Section (2004 to 2006). I have also served as member of the PBA Planning Committee and on the Nominating Committee. I am a member of the Erie and McKean County Bar Associations.
